I bought and just hade a Selay Mattress delivered that online Looked good and sounded great, not at all what I thought it would be. should have gone in a store I guess???

I will never make this mistake again.. hard as a rock and was told it is a pillow top with memory foam . not either of them.. very unhappy with myself and the end result ...

this is not at all what I thought I was Buying. I'm a Newly divorced man trying to get restarted guess I'm not good at trusting web sites and what they have to say .

Worst Purchase in My Lifetime

This company is the worst company that I have ever worked with in my life time. The bed was uneven, too thick to be on a adjusting platform, doesn't adjust properly, and caused my husband to fall out of several times.

When trying to return the bed, they were rude, inconsiderate, and treated my like I was a child. To top it off, after trying to inform the company of the treatment I experienced, they refused to return my calls after several attempts. I finally received a call back from the Director of Customer Service, who told me that I was an adult and should have read all the fine print, regardless of what the bed had done to my family. So now, I will return a mattress and will be stuck with a mechanical bed frame at which cost me well over $1,000 and it will not work with the bed I want to purchase.

Wow, thanks Sleep Outfitters for a bed that causes harm and not will to treat me like a human. If considering purchasing from them, reconsider.

I have spinal stinosis and told them I needed extra firm. Purchased set. Used two weeks and had soft mattress. Had set replaced. That set was used (plastic was taped) and two deep pockets developed within one month. Filled out papers from main office with nothing done since. Total waste of money and health. Very rude handling exchange. Would highly not recommend.

We purchased an $1727+tax mattress, and a 1200 base for us and a $600 mattress for our son. I called after the first horrible night of sleep and told them I did not like the mattress at all. I felt nothing like the floor model. I was told by our sales lady that I HAD to MAKE myself sleep in it for 45 nights to adjust my body and and break the new mattress in. I agreed to both and attempted it. After 43 nights of uncomfortable sleep due to back and neck pain, I called them back and talked to another sales lady. Ours wasn't available. I explained what was going on and said that I wanted something different or a refund I couldn't take anymore sleepless nights. She asked if I could go in that night and I couldn't with being about an hour away. I did however go in the next evening. Tried out several mattresses and couldn't find one that I was overjoyed with. I had done research and saw that this mattress came in the plush and a firmer option. I insisted that ours was still way too firm so she showed me the firm one and low and behold it felt the same as the one we had. She said that it could be that they brought the wrong one so she measured the height of both and told me to measure ours . The firm would be 11 inches and the plush around 12-13. When we got home, which was after closing hours I measured and it was the same height as the firm...11 inches. The next morning I call her and she automatically wants to switch them out. I told her I wasn't sure about that. If I switch and am still not happy I can't get a refund and there is only one exchange allowed. I didn't want to get stuck with a loss like that. Then I reminded her about the price guarantee that was to be honored if there was a price changed in the store or a competitor with a lower price within 120 days .They had this mattress on sale $200 cheaper and if I was going to switch I wanted that difference back. Oh no!! I was told that they didn't do that for their in store prices. Only competitors. I argued with her about that. Look on their website...I was correct!!! So with that argument I told her just to give me the refund, I wasn't switching out. Said their policies sucked and not messing with it anymore. Well since we financed at 0% interest for a year, there was another ordeal and she had to talk to her supervisor ,and the bank was closed with it being a Sat. She'd call me on Mon. Keep in mind Sat night, is night 45 and I'd already told them I didn't like the mattress on evening before the 43rd and the morning before night 45 i said they could issue a refund. Didn't hear anything all day today so I called the bank first and am told that they have a note on my account that Sleep Outfitters said they are only going to honor the comfort guarantee by doing a trade. No way no how am I standing for this!! I've argued with them at the store and now have called customer service, only to be told that supervisor is on vacation and won't be back till Thursday and I have to wait. I have phone records of all calls last week and can back my dates up as to all this going down before night 45. Do what needs to be done to make this right or I'll see you in court.

Issue has finally been resolved. It took 11 weeks in order to get my money back. I had to pay them for the "free" tv and mattress pad "gifts" because of returning the mattress regardless of having still spent $2000 in there after the return.

I was completely scammed and lied to by the lady at Sleep outfitters. I explained I wanted to pay it off by using the 90 day plan. Well I paid the 90 days and still owe another 9 months. She, I believe her name was Victoria, made me think I would pay the 3 months only. She did not say the amount I would be paying. I told her I could pay at least $400.00 a month to get it paid for. Now progressive told me it was on a 12 month Plan. This means I am paying double for the mattress. This was fraud and I will be taking this matter further. Of course they put the fault in progressive which it was not their fault. I was lied and lied too.

I'm not sure why you didn't read the terms of the financing you're probably one of them not too bright folks that said the bank tricked me and foreclose on my house everything is in writing on a financial document when you open a credit line if you didn't understand it you shouldn't have done it people like you are what's wrong with this country unfortunately human beings are the only species that protect the stupid and slow we don't allow natural selection to do it's job there by these people's genes get in the gene pool and create more stupid people

Horrable Business Practice

So went to Sleep Outfitters in Paducah, KY (by Wal-Mart)for a $1,199 mattress and they used Progressive Financial to do the lease of finance agreement. They said I would only have to pay the $1,199 and would be done.

I asked about term times and fees and they said there was none. That since it was automatically taken out and for such a low price it wouldn't have to worry about that. That they would automatically take the amount from my account and at the end of the $1,199 would stop. Well they didn't instead they drop the payments to their yearly plan where they will end up taking $2648.80 instead.

I call to question this and they just said "well that's only if you pay it off in 90 days, what does it matter you only have 10 more payments anyways." I asked why I never got a lease agreement and they say “we never mail anything we are all electronic.” I say it is illegal to charge that kind of interest they say “it’s not interest but lease notable rate of 2.0” so you will pay twice what its worth. They also say “I deal with angry people like this every day so I know why you’re mad.” Then tell me to talk to Outfitters if I have a problem with that. So this is there bad business practice and I will be stopping payment and looking into legal options. Still don’t think it is legal to do this without offering an agreement to read at time of agreement of when agreement is accepted.

When I called Sleep Outfitters they say it’s not their problem to talk to Progressive. I will never do business with Progressive or Sleep Outfitters again and everyone else would be wise to do the same.

I'm giving two stars because the corporate people promised one thing and then took it back. The salesman at the store was WONDERFUL! I don't want to take away from him. Our set was delivered on a Sunday because there was a huge snow storm Friday and the roads were too bad on Saturday. Well, on Sunday the delivery truck couldn't get down my driveway so I had to drive down and get the mattresses onto my truck and drive them to the house. My daughter and I carried the box mattress in first and carried it upstairs. We cut the plastic off and found that it was damaged. The plastic corner protection on one side was cracked and broken off. The black backing on the bottom was ripped off and one of the wooden cross beams was broken. It took us about an hour, but we fixed the wood, and fixed the rest of the bed. I emailed corporate with photos and received a voice mail a few hours later offering me 50% off or an exchange. I called back the next day and said that due to all the trouble getting it I would appreciate the 50% off. Now, they refuse to give me the 50% and will only give me $50 off!!! $50????!!!! After the trouble and this is what they do? I will never buy from a company that leaves a voicemail promising one thing and then doing another.

Best customer service ever. Saleswoman let us try beds for an hour, answering all our questions about springs and padding and toppers. Then figured out how to get us a better price by not adding in a lot of "free" items that come with the set. Still got free delivery and a set of mattress covers in last years package at a big discount. Will definitely look her up when we fix up the guest room.

Most miserable bed I've ever slept in!

In March 2015 we purchased a split king Temperpedic air mattress with an adjustable frame. Almost 8000.00 worth of bed. We have tried and tried to find the right adjustments to get a comfortable nights sleep. It's not happening. We went back to the store we bought it from just to find out that we were a mere 7 days past their trial period. In order for us to be able to return the mattresses they want to charge us 250.00 for a restock fee and another 400.00 for a different mattress. Like 8000.00 wasn't enough to start out with. Buying this bed was one of the worst decisions I've ever made and I will never go back to sleep outfitters nor will I recommend them to anyone.

I too purchase a top of the line mattress from the store in March 2015, the mattress has dipped in the center it is hard to find a comfortable positions on the mattress. Poor quality mattress.

Sagging mattress thermopedic type 15 months old

I have a mattress I purchased only 15 months and and its sagging across the bed and of course in my spot The service guys came out to my home and inspected it and then looked the mattress over and found it was defected, then move onto the box spring, now once they looked at the box spring they ripped back the black covering under the bottom and I walked into my room after it was done and I was like OMG the mattress has never been touched since put in. I only sleep on my mattress 3 nights a week only because of my job keeps me away, however how in the world can this mattress sag and I weigh only 158lbs really in 15 months?

The service guys said the board that runs from head to foot is cracked now how could this happen? I only have one complaint other then the mattress issue, which I am very dissatisfied is that this company has the nerve to charge me $100.00 which they *** your mattress if you have any problems. What kind of company charges you for defects, really that you did not do? I am surely getting my full refund back and never going to purchase anything from this company again.

Running customers away by charging for the defected issues. When I purchased this mattress the company stated that they charge you $100.00 if they have to come out on defects I should of ran as fast as I can. they not only are making money from the sale but the defects as well. BS, in my opinion.

If anyone wants to purchase from this company be very aware you automatically get charged $100.00 for a defect mattress.

Run fast and go somewhere else. No other company charges you for defected items really, if they d steer away from that company to.
